Category:State Presidents of South Africa

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When South Africa became a republic in 1961 the British monarch ceased to be head of state. South Africa's head of state was called the State President (or Staatspresident in Afrikaans) until the end of the Apartheid era in 1994, when the title was amended to simply President of South Africa.
