History section[edit]

It strikes me as odd that the first mention of the Americas references the US, whereas beans have been a staple within the Americans since well before the colonisation. I don’t know nearly enough about American legumes to do this myself, but hopefully someone else is willing to edit the history section to broaden its scope. Yes. I've cut some of the soybean stuff, and added a bit about beans more generally. The section is still poorly-structured and unbalanced, but a bit better than it was. Chiswick Chap (talk) 11:53, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
