This is not right: the scientific name has "(Linnaeus, 1758)" after it. However, "Synonyms" list below it tells Linnaeus named it Lacerta plica, and Plica plica was given 1931. This is a problem of many scientific names, but this is the first (to me) with a list which have also the persons and years for the synonyms.
For example the eurasian lynx article has both Lynx lynx and Felis lynx credited for (Linnaeus, 1758): Lynx lynx is most likely later, and probably not from 1758. 109.240.244.114 (talk) 06:15, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
