Question from Mjamesmft (19:44, 27 May 2024)[edit]

Hi Martin, I am working on a submission for Wikipedia titled, The Double Archetype. It was not accepted back in December 2023 due to reading too much like an essay and having too few citations, among other issues. I have been working on a near-complete rewrite of the submission, and have some questions. Do I submit it now as a “new” submission? What is the difference between “citation” and “reference”? Thanks, Marston James --Mjamesmft (talk) 19:44, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Martin, Would you please move my draft of The Double Archetype to my user page? I am rewriting the whole thing. Thanks! --Mjamesmft (talk) 19:31, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Mjamesmft (19:13, 7 June 2024)[edit]

Hello Martin, One of the pieces of feedback I’ve received on my proposed article is that I’ve used the same citation multiple times throughout. It was suggested that I should instead use “references” for all the other times I use the same citation following the first usage. What’s the difference between “citation” and “reference”? I’ve already read the Wikipedia definitions and how to create both, but am still boggled because they seem to be the same thing. Please Help! --Mjamesmft (talk) 19:13, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
